The starting point - conversion to a motorhome.

Ceiling being held in place, 12 volt wiring leading to main control box behind driver.

Slide out tray to accomodate house batteries.

20 - 26 September 2004

 

Six Suzuki Mighty Boys at the CMCA motorhome rally in Toowoomba September 2004.

Some quiet spots............

Coraki, northern NSW

On the banks of the Richmond River, within the triangle of Woodburn,  Lismore and Casino.  Nothing too flash here, but peace and quite right on the banks of the river.

Basic amenities block and shops immediately across the road.  Telephone and TV.

Darlington Park

Approximately 27km south of Beaudesert via Kerry.  Rest area on the banks of one of several creeks leading to the Albert River.  No power and no showers or drinking water.  Free gas BBQ's and picnic shelters. Some flat areas.  Toilets (flushing). You can swim in the creek, and fires are permitted.  Large cricket oval.

$5 per adult per night - self register.  Phone service if you have a good external car aerial.  Average TV signal.  Nearest shops are Beaudesert.  Very peaceful and quiet.

Leslie Dam, Warwick, Queensland

Approximately 8kmn west of Warwick on the Goondiwindi Road. Turn-off is well signed.

Fires permitted for cooking and firewood provided..  Amenities block with showers, toilet and laundry.  Boat ramps, fishing and water skiing.  Phone service and TV.  Nearest shops on outskirts of Warwick
